Mulato chilies are a variety of dried Poblano Pepper, deep dark in colour and with a mild sweet flavour. They are very popular in Mexican cuisine and can be used as a base for salsas and marinades and in making mole paste from scratch.
Store in a seal bag or container in a dry and cool place.
